It was about the mid of the year 2006, we started weaving a dream of residing in a housing apartment inside the metro city of Kolkata with all the modern amenities but in an eco friendly environment. The dream started taking shape to become reality in next few years and in 2009 our dream was finally converted into reality and presented to us in form of Diamond City West. The prestigious residential apartment very soon has become a prominent landmark in the city of joy “Kolkata”. The apartment consists of 13 storied 10 towers, each having 100 spacious and airy flats with a lush green central lawn in between. There is natural lake inside the complex filled crystal clear water. Diamond City West is surrounded by many flower, fruit and decorative trees and plants to keep the serene environment inside the complex completely away from all the dirt and noise of the busy streets. Seasonal and permanent flowers bloom inside the well maintained garden. Nobody can keep away from enjoying the sun in a winter afternoon sitting in the central lawn surrounded by many different varieties of seasonal flowers and flying butterflies. Diamond city west is a natural habitat some very common and some rare species of birds namely House sparrows, Common Mynas, Sunbirds, Drongos, Oriental Magpie Robins, Hoopoes, Copper Smith Barbets, Blue Collared Barbets, Spotted Doves, Green Pigeons, Cuckoos, Asian Koels, Owls and plenty of pigeons. All the modern day amenities like Gym, Community Halls, Unisex Salon, Steam Bath are there for ultimate luxury of the residents. Indoor games room, Senior Citizens' adda room, Yoga room, Ladies adda room and the Childrens' play area are the places where residents of all ages socialize together. Ringing of the bells at the mandir inside the complex during the Arati creates a devotional atmosphere. Morning walkers enjoy a walk of 1.4 kms alongside the periphery of the complex or 140 meter jogging track around the central lawn. Diamond City West is itself can be called as mini India as we have residents of all provinces speaking all different languages and with different cultures, but inside the campus we build a strong bonding with each other and we are from a single extended family inside the campus.
